The only American tea plantation, just outside of Charleston. Nice little plant tour with video and lots of tasting. Did you know tea plants can live up to 100 years. Just the new growth is harvested and they can get almost a dozen cuttings in a season.

I tried boiled peanuts in downtown Chicago at Christmas time. I wasn't impressed, how 'bout you?
ReplyDeleteI love the graceful look of the live oaks. You are in a lovely area with so much history. I have never tried the boiled peanuts, they just never appealed to me enough to try them.
