Sea Caves overlook |
We headed out to another popular stop along the Lake Superior Shores. Meyers Beach, the launching point and trail head to look at the sea caves by land or water.

We choose land, a 4 mile round trip which started out on a board walk
through the woods then a path up and down til we reached the rocky edge
above the sea caves.

The caves are a destination along the Apostle Island National Lake Shore. In the winter, if the shore freezes, you can walk out to them.

Nearby the town of Cornucopia.
Outdoor museum of weathered old boats made for some interesting photos.
The harbor was also home to quaint shops and a fish market. Had to get some smoked whitefish and spread.
